Gerald "Cameo" Williams is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and has been playing the drums since he was seven years old. He has played with the Educators Band, Odyssey band, Uncle Funckle Band, and Roy C Band just to name a few. Mr. Williams is currently playing with the Unit Band, Stephen Joy Trio, and a local church drummer for over 23 years. Lonnie Hamilton III and his father the late Jesse Williams AKA "Whip" and his Hammond organ had a great influence on his music career. James Brown "the hardest working man in show business" is his earthy idol. It is a privilege for him to play with veterans such as George Kenny, Oscar Rivers, Lonnie Hamilton III and company.
